Freedom Project Information Sessions:
Founded in 2007 by Give Back
Cincinnati and FreedomYP (the National
Underground Railroad Freedom Center's young
professionals group), Freedom Project aims
to provide you with an opportunity to create
meaningful relationships with people whom
you might not otherwise make the opportunity

our community, hosting focused dialogue, and
encouraging social interaction.

Give Back Beyond Information Sessions
(Last one!):
Join fellow volunteers on an amazing trip
that will change lives. In 2010 Give Back
Beyond will travel to Romania (April),
New
Orleans (August), and Ghana
(October) in order to build homes and hope
for those in need. The trip unites
volunteers in a unique adventure in which
you will be able to experience a new culture
in a deep and intense journey.
January 30th, 11:00 a.m.
We strongly suggest that anyone planning on
participating in a trip should attend an
information session. For more information,

We went back
to school and left with honors...
180+
volunteers used about 70 gallons of paint,
56 ladders, and who knows how many scrapers,
sand paper sheets, tarps, tape rolls, rags,
roller brushes & extenders, paint brushes,
tray & tray liners, and paint buckets. Our
plans started with the 3 floors of hallways,
stairwells, and the vast foyer, but, because
the great enthusiasm and productivity, we
added second coats, painted some ceilings &
archways, and cleaned like we were throwing
a party our parents were coming too! The
students (and staff) trickling in early for
the talent show were excited and greatly
appreciative of the immense effort & results
we put into the event.
Taylor High
School's principal and officials have
expressed their gratitude and awe at the
efforts and excellence of our group.
In addition to painting, we were able to
present the school with 10,000 points for
the Labels for Education from the
Campbell Soup Company and many volunteers
contributed their points as well to the
school. We hope that everyone had a
wonderful time and that you realize how much
you are appreciated by those in the Three
Rivers School District.
Photos from the event are up!! Check out all the fun we had!!
