Give Back's Opening Day Party - fundraiser on the square

Going to the Opening Day game? Can't get off work? Either way, come to Fountain Square to celebrate Cincinnati's unofficial holiday and Give Back Cincinnati's first fundraiser of the year. The game will be shown on the big screen on the square; Christian Moerlein and Woodford Reserve are supplying the libations. Live music including Ellison, The Flight Station, and Heroes and Madmen begin onstage following the game. Prizes and games provided by 94.9 The Sound. Proceeds benefit your favorite volunteer group - Give Back Cincinnati. The party starts before the first pitch and runs until 10 p.m. Bring your friends, Reds fans, and do NOT miss this event!

A night out with Give Back Cincinnati: Reds vs. Brewers

Mark your calendar ... Give Back Cincinnati will head to Great American Ballpark on Friday, April 18th for the game, bonding, beer and nachos! Spend a night out with some of your favorite volunteers. Don't make other plans; this will be the place to be!

Meet GBC's Fundraising Director ...

Kristin Steuber

Background

I was born and raised in Northern Kentucky, grew up in Villa Hills, graduated from Notre Dame Academy, then moved to Louisville for 2 years. I graduated with a Journalism degree from NKU, and currently work as a Client Service Rep for KeyBank in Cincinnati. I now live in Burlington with my husband (and soon-to-be-Chef Avram) and dog, Louie.

GBC Board Responsibilities

As the Fundraising Director, I am responsible for chairing events focused on raising capital for organizational operations. The Last Blast Party will return for its 3rd year and I hope to introduce new fundraising events and initiatives to the organization in 2007.

What Give Back means to her

"I joined Give Back Cincinnati in January of 2006 and immediately felt connected. It gives me a chance to meet new people and interact with those who share the same ambition and interest in bettering the community we live in. After going on the Katrina Collaboration trip to New Orleans, I decided to join the Board. It provides me with the opportunity to build my leadership skills while doing something I've always loved-giving back to others who were not blessed with what I have."

Fun Fact

I have an identical twin sister. Yes, we look exactly alike, and no, I do not feel her pain.
