Opening Day on the Square
GBC is partnering up
with Channel 12 to host an all day party on
Fountain Square for the Reds Opening day,
Monday April 5th. From the Square, you
can watch the traditional Findlay Market
Opening Day Parade pass by. If you don't
have tickets to the game, stay to watch the
Reds play the St. Louis Cardinals at 1:10pm
on the Fountain Square video screen. Come
celebrate this Cincinnati tradition on the
Square with live music, food, and Christian
Moerlein beer.
We are looking for
volunteers! Are you available to help
out for a few hours? Sell food,
beverages, or such... follow the link below
to sign up to help. Thank you!
If you cannot volunteer, we hope you will
swing by to watch the game or the music
afterwards.

Give
Back at the Theater:
This past Saturday
, GBC went to the theater and had a lovely
time. More than 50 members of Give
Back Cincinnati got together at the Aronoff
to enjoy "The 39 Steps". Everyone had
a splendid time experiencing a unique and
witty show, while able to spend some time
with fellow young professionals. The
social afterwards was at "FB's" and we are
grateful for their efforts in opening their
doors early for us. many thanks to the
social committee as they planned a wonderful
event. You may check out our pictures
on our website as well.
Also, we are always
looking for new ideas for our calendar of
events. If you have an idea about
where we could go next year for our evening
with the arts, please do not hesitate to
email our social director or the president.
Thank you, your ideas and efforts make this
group what it is.
Community Immersion - Walnut Hills
A Community Immersion
event is a way to intimately get to know
a community that you might not yet have
truly experienced, but needs our
attention. On April 10th, we
will be exploring the community of
Walnut Hills. As we discussed in
the Sounding Sessions on February 23rd
and 24th, Walnut Hills is currently
undergoing a slow and steady process of
community revitalization. Through
this community immersion, we will dig
deeper into the businesses and
organizations that line the streets of
Walnut Hills. We will interact
with members of the neighborhood and for
an hour or so, we will get our hands
dirty while directly helping with a
community project. If you were, or
were not able to join us for our
Sounding Sessions on community
revitalization, this event would be the
perfect opportunity to witness
revitalization efforts first hand.
We hope you can join us!
Leave Saturday, April 10th from 10:00 AM
to 3:00 PM open on your calendar.
More details and registration to open up
as we get closer to the event. In
the meantime, check out Walnut Hills @
