Members' Choice - Time to VOTE!!
We collected many great
ideas over the past few months and narrowed
the choices down to three events. The
process was not a simple one as each needs
to accommodate 100+ volunteers, be hands-on,
and feasible to be accomplished in our
standard time frame (morning/early
afternoon).
None the less... we
have three great ideas!! Check out the
link below to review the ideas and vote for
your favorite. The event will occur on
September 18th, so mark your calendars now
and vote today with the enthusiasm you had
voting for Votto.
Vote for your favorite Members' Choice event here!!

August
21st:
Give
Back Cincinnati has always found itself
working in Over-the-Rhine at least once a
year, now we have an entire event dedicated
to the area this year!! Many different
projects are being planned throughout the
entire community. This will be a great
event with something for everyone.
We have a wonderful
title sponsor for this event and many local
organizations have been helping us plan the
various activities. Keep Cincinnati
Beautiful has a project for up that will
change the curb appeal of boarded up
buildings... Findlay Market has some urban
gardening projects for us... The OTR
Foundation even has some work lined up for
us to help them with the historical
buildings in the area and this is all just
to name a few projects!!
We will open up
registration in the coming weeks, but for
now, get this on your calendar and get
excited to spend a day in the great
community of Over-the-Rhine.

Littering is wrong but you can make it “write”!
Think
people who litter are rude and lazy? You’re not
alone. Keep Cincinnati Beautiful recently launched a
new litter prevention campaign to remind residents
just how unacceptable and inappropriate it is to
litter.
The
campaign, “Littering is Wrong Too” takes a unique
and light hearted approach to get attention and be
remembered. It links littering with wrongdoing,
while also defining the personality of the litterer
as a socially unaccepted jerk and vilifies the
choice they make to litter.
The campaign Website,
www.LitteringIsWrongToo.org
is packed with ways to get involved. You can even
come up with your own campaign ad by “writing your
wrong”. Check out the site, submit and vote for your
favorite “wrong”, pledge your support and share the
campaign with your online networks.
