Theatre at 6 p.m.
Join us Thursday, August 13th at 20th
Century Theatre in Oakley from 6 - 9 p.m.
Appetizers will be provided, and a cash bar
will be available. A DJ will play our
favorite songs all night as we celebrate
this enormous milestone for our organization
and reminisce over our many wonderful
events. Whether you have been a member for
five days or five years, please join us! You
will also get to meet our 5,000th member!

Take the Give Back Challenge August 22... we
know you will have fun!
Registration
will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Knock Back Nat's
on 7th Street Downtown. Participants will
then partake in a traveling trivia contest
similar to The Amazing Race from 12 - 2 p.m.
We will return to Knock Back Nat's after the
challenge for socializing from 2 - 5 p.m.
Food and drink tickets will be provided, and
the band Frankly Speaking will play at the
after-party. EVERY participant needs to

You will participate in this event in groups
of 4-6 and you can form your team beforehand
or at registration. There is no entry fee to
participate. Wear comfortable shoes as you
will be walking around the downtown area.

for Emery Jam to support GBBC service
travel!
On August 29th, we will return to the site
of the Emery Theatre to see our hard work come to fruition
with a live concert featuring 500 Miles to
Memphis, The Sundresses, Kristen Key, and
Eclipse. The event starts at 5 p.m. and
features drink specials from Christian Moerlein. Pre-sale tickets are only $20 and
the proceeds support our international
travel group that will head to Guatemala in
October. This will be a historical event!

Thank you to the 89 volunteers who helped make
All Hands on Deck Saturday a success!
We began the process for urban gardens at two
OTR sites and we gave the P.A. Denny a fresh
coat of paint in Newport.
