'Tis the season... join us for the Give Back Holiday Party December 10 

Join us at Hyde Park Tavern on Thursday, December 10th from 7-10 p.m.  We will introduce the 2010 Leadership Team, hand out calendar cards for our 2010 events, and thank our 2009 Board. Spread cheer by bringing a donation for Freestore Food Bank of canned goods. Music, drink specials and appetizers are all part of the fun, and there is NO CHARGE! There is also an added incentive to get there early and stay late as the first 100 in attendance will receive a gift from our Sponsor Christian Moerlein!!! Attire will be business casual should you be concerned. Interested in Give Back Beyond Cincinnati and Service Travel in 2010? 

Join fellow volunteers on an amazing trip that will change lives. In 2010 Give Back Beyond will travel to Romania (April), New Orleans (August), and Ghana (October) in order to build homes and hope for those in need. The trip unites volunteers in a unique adventure in which you will be able to experience a new culture in a deep and intense journey. Come learn about these service travel trips at our information sessions this month at the following dates:

December 12th, 11:00 a.m.
December 16th, 6:30 p.m.

Fall Feast was a great success again this year! 

Over 2,300 people experienced a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner in the main ballroom of the Duke Energy Convention Center. Another 1,500 meals were prepared and delivered to various neighborhood shut-in centers and retirement communities. To add to those astonishing numbers...950 coats were distributed, more than 200 haircuts provided in our salon, 350 plus books given to all the children in attendance, and countless relationships built.

The volunteer team created an atmosphere where everyone who attended felt special and joined together at the same banquet table. The vision was to be able to share stories, laughs, struggles, dance, play, and meet new friends. Over 500 people from Give Back Cincinnati, City Gospel Mission and Crossroads Community Church served and fostered the vision of what TRUE COMMUNITY in our city should look like for years to come. Many thanks go out to all who attended, were involved, and to our sponsors for their support as well.  Fall Feast continues to grow with each passing year and we know that Fall Feast 2010 will find a way to affect more lives in a positive way next Thanksgiving. Thank you!!
