This is our last newsletter of2007 and my last one as membership director (sniff!). I've had a great time! Susan Smith will send your next newsletter in January. Meanwhile, here's a look at this year and our 2008 event dates:  

Holiday Party: Wrap-up
Santa showed up along with many of you to Bang nightclub for a few hours of holiday revelry. A big shout-out to our social committee for the planning, Christian Moerlein for beverage mug favors, 94.9 The Sound for prizes and all of you for being there. A Look Back at 2007
I crunched some numbers and figured out 1,933 Give Back Cincinnati volunteers came to events this year, contributing almost 15,000 hours of their time. Add in the planning our committees put in and here's what you did with all that time:

Painted the inside of a school and landscaped the outside of another one • Got whupped at bingo and casino games by senior citizens and at playground games by schoolkids • Cleaned up 46 little league fields during a snowstorm • Overhauled two communities' business districts with paint, plants and a giant vacuum • Painted 35 houses • Built homes in New Orleans and the Dominican Republic • Talked about local hot topics and went behind the scenes in Over-the-Rhine • Collected 20,000 pounds of food and clothing • Got hundreds of teenage conference attendees to the right place • Helped staff a music festival • Gave 450 people the Thanksgiving dining experience of their lives
