What's happening this week:

Give Back Challenges You to Have a Great Time

What happens when you combine "Minute to Win It" games, a wild downtown Cincinnati scavenger hunt and people dressed in trench coats? Give Back Challenge, that's what.

Approximately 100 Give Back Cincinnati members (and a few random passers-by) participated in this year's challenge. The winning team -- Cincinnati Sleuths, featuring Inspector Finds-a-Lot -- dashed through the streets, snapping pics with their smart phones and besting the competition in games of skill, smarts and speed. Lots of great prizes were awarded, and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Some quotes from the event:

  • "You know you're in for a good time when you realize that you're going to be running around downtown with four people dressed as pirates." ~ Shasta T.
  • "Had a super sweet time - thanks for setting this up!" ~ Jordan H.

Photos are coming soon... stay tuned!

Register for the Hudepohl 14K Brewery Run

The Give Back Cincinnati is gearing up for the Hudepohl 14k Brewery Run, an awesome run through Over-the-Rhine to be held on Saturday, Sept. 17. We're looking for YOUR help to make the event a success!

Volunteers are needed to help with set-up and tear-down of the various events, pass water out to racers and to maintain order along the race route. Shifts will run from 7:00-11:00 a.m., and then you can let loose at the Beer Laufen, enjoy delicious Gold Star Chili and Christian Moerlein beer and music. Just think of how sweet you'll look enjoying the festivities with your free t-shirt and free beer tickets!

We are able to accommodate groups of volunteers who want to work together, so plan to arrive at the event together in order to be assigned to the same area of the course.
