Thank you to all those who participated in Give Back with the Future! We had a great time prepping the Imago Earth Center for fall, enjoyed some great bonding with the Leadership Scholars and enjoyed an adults-only after party following a cookout with the kids. Click here for photos from the event!
If you're interested in expanding your role in Give Back Cincinnati in 2012, listen up: We will be hosting a series of informational and interview sessions for those who are interested in the leadership roles that will be available next year.
Plan on a brief discussion and overview of our organization, followed by an in-depth "career fair" that offers more details about each of the positions that make up our leadership team. Once you've identified the position that feels like the right fit for you, you'll be invited to sign up for a one-on-one interview.
Informational sessions will be held on Monday, October 3 at 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, October 9 at 11:00 a.m. (Interviews, which you'll be invited to sign up for during each information session, will be held on October 8 and 22.)

Give Back Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Film Festival have partnered to honor hometown hero George Clooney with a "Giving Back" award to thank him for giving back to the Cincinnati region through the production of his upcoming film, Ides of March. You can check out the film at the Cincinnati Film Fest, which is looking to fill several volunteer positions. Sign up on the Cincinnati Film Festival website or email volunteer@cincyfilmfest.com if you are interested in getting in on the action!
Save your spot for an event that has become an annual tradition, the Christian Moerlein: Operation OTR. Give Back Cincinnati has partnered with Christian Moerlein
and the OTR Community Council to help improve the brewery district and surrounding areas of OTR. Volunteers will be heading out to do some painting, landscaping, and cleaning. We’ll be working at old brewery houses such as Jackson, Crown, and Kaufman to help bring back Cincinnati’s great brewing heritage. We’ll even be helping to re-open a recently discovered tunnel! Short tours of a few of the buildings we are working in will highlight the significance of this project as the heart of the renewal project in OTR. After all of the hard work is done you’ll want to stick around for a great after-party with some special giveaways!
From time to time, we like to highlight the members who help Give Back Cincinnati make a difference in the community. Today, we introduce you to Margaret Hannahan, who turned our for our Give Back Cincinnati event on Sept. 24.
