Background:
I was born and raised in good ole’ Cincinnati. I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. I currently work as a bookkeeper serving several clients in the Greater Cincinnati area. My clients include small businesses such as Machine Shops, Builders, Real Estate Developers, and Trophy & Awards companies.
Job Duties:
What GBC Means to Me:
I was urged by a good friend to volunteer on the Republic Street project back in 2003 and have been involved with Give Back ever since. Give Back Cincinnati is an amazing organization with extremely motivated, inspiring, hard working, and hard playing volunteers. This past year with GBC has afforded me the opportunity to serve on an Event’s committe, participate in the Service Travel Trip to Ecuador, and give back to a community that has given so much to me. GBC has helped me realize that each of us has the power to help and change things in a world that can seem overwhelming and sometimes unfair.
A couple of my favorite quotes…
“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” - Winston Churchill.
"We must be the change we wish to see in the world." - Gandhi
Fun Fact:
I have run several marathons and am only 6 minutes shy of Boston Qualifying time! (I’ll make it there one day) I am also known to be a member of the “Clean Plate Club” by some Give Back members.
