Background:
I grew up in Birmingham, Michigan and ended up in Cincinnati after I graduated from Miami University. I taught English for five years and now work as an Assistant Principal at Colerain High School.
What GBC means to me:
I joined GBC through the Social Committee six years ago, and I have been hooked ever since. Being around young professionals with a multitude of careers, experiences, and backgrounds who all come together to improve Cincinnati in some way is the reason I would consider myself addicted to Give Back. The connections I have made with people and the opportunities I have had to serve others make this organization so unique.
What I do for GBC:
This year, I will be the President. This means I will be in charge of running the Executive Team meetings and Board of Directors meetings. I support all of the members of the Executive Team in their roles, as well as Core Event leads and Program leads. I am excited for the opportunities that will be presented under our new leadership organizational structure.
