GBC Supports these Cincinnati volunteer and social opportunities

EITC - Volunteers Needed for Tax Preparation
Interested in spending a few hours of your time helping hardworking families get more of their own money back? United Way is seeking volunteers for the region-wide Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) initiative.

Volunteers will provide tax return preparation assistance to tax payers at 35 free tax preparation sites located throughout the City of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Northern Kentucky, Butler County, and Clermont County.

No previous experience is necessary. The Internal Revenue Service will provide free training and certification. Volunteers commit to working a minimum of 12 hours during the January 15 – April 15 tax filing season.

To learn more, register and attend an orientation session:

  • Wednesday, November 8, 5-6 p.m. (Xavier University, Schott Hall, Room 212, 3800 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati)
  • Saturday, November 18, 9:30-10:30 a.m. (Xavier University, Alter Hall, Room 319, 3800 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati)
