What a beautiful day for this event! The events were set and the teams were gathered. In their matching shirts, our teams joined for the day's battle. The volleyball competition raged through the day. The next event was the cornhole tournament. It was time for our natives to show their homegrown skills. Next the teams put their brains to use in the trivia competition. Do you know who the former lead singer of Genesis was? (Hint: It is not Phil Collins.) Next was the golf challenge. The driving for distance contest was pretty impressive. A 275 yard drive with those drivers is quite impressive. The final event, the eating contest, showed the true grit of our volunteers. First it was hotwings and then came the sardines. Finally, the gummi worm grab sealed the day. Our winning team walked away with their $20 prizes!
