We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is 100% volunteer-run. All leadership roles are unpaid and held by active Give Back Cincinnati members who are passionate about making a big impact on a local scale. Requirements for all roles:

  • Live in the Greater Cincinnati area

  • Have attended at least two Give Back Cincinnati events

  • Commit to a one-year volunteer leadership term

🎯 Development Director

  • *Highest Priority Need* 

  • Lead all fundraising initiatives, including donor cultivation and sponsorship development

  • Research and submit grant applications to support Give Back Cincinnati programming

  • Partner with the President to plan, coordinate, and execute our signature Reds Opening Day event on Fountain Square

  • Cultivate relationships with community organizations, businesses, and philanthropic partners

  • Collaborate with the President and VP of Finance to create long-term budget strategies and assess development efforts

  • Member of the Give Back Cincinnati Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for overseeing long-term financial position and strategic direction of the organization.

🧡  Membership Director

  • Responsible for owning and improving the volunteer and member experience, including recruitment, retention, and connection

  • Plan and host quarterly New Member Socials to build community

  • Represent Give Back Cincinnati at events to recruit and connect with volunteers

  • Foster a warm and inclusive environment for both new and returning members

  • Identify and encourage volunteers who may be a good fit for leadership opportunities

  • Oversee coordination and logistics of event registration and sign-in process

  • Member of the Give Back Cincinnati Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for overseeing long-term financial position and strategic direction of the organization.

👋  Alumni Director

  • Responsible for ensuring connecting Give Back Cincinnati with its 25+ years of alumni and friends

  • Identify opportunities for alumni to engage in the execution of our mission and pursuit of our vision

  • Coordinate with other members of the Board to ensure communication and connection with alumni

  • Create and maintain an alumni directory

  • Coordinate with the Board to facilitate alumni communications and updates

  • Plan and host at least one alumni-focused event each year

  • Engage alumni in current programs through volunteer opportunities and partnerships

  • Member of the Give Back Cincinnati Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for overseeing long-term financial position and strategic direction of the organization.

💸  Financial Sustainability Director

  • Oversee the financial health and long-term sustainability of Give Back Cincinnati

  • Partner with the VP of Finance to review budgets and financial reports

  • Collaborate with the Development Director to align fundraising and budgeting goals

  • Recommend financial policies, systems, and practices to support responsible growth

  • Analyze current spending trends and help build multi-year budget projections

  • Participate in planning for program scalability and financial impact

  • Member of the Give Back Cincinnati Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for overseeing long-term financial position and strategic direction of the organization.

🔥 Program Lead, Fuel

  • Responsible for leading Fuel, Give Back Cincinnati's non-profit incubator program. Historically, Fuel has awarded micro-grants to early-stage and emerging non-profits serving the greater Cincinnati area.

  • Determine the target market and key focus areas for Fuel as we seek to rejuvenate the program

  • Define key focus areas and the target audience for the current program cycle

  • Recruit and manage a small volunteer team to assist with the program

  • Design and implement a fair and transparent application and selection process

  • Cultivate relationships with community leaders to identify promising nonprofit partners

  • Oversee the awarding and distribution of micro-grants

🌍 Program Lead, Give Back Beyond

  • Responsible for leading Give Back Beyond, Give Back Cincinnati's initiative that helps connect the city with places around the world. Historically, Give Back Beyond has traveled regionally, domestically, and even internationally to connect the service-oriented emerging leaders of our region to locations that could use our help.

  • Lead the strategic refresh of Give Back Beyond, our domestic and international volunteer program

  • Define goals and geographic priorities for upcoming trips

  • Plan and execute meaningful service trips that align with our mission

  • Work with community partners to identify opportunities for impactful collaboration

  • Ensure all trips are volunteer-driven, ethical, and community-informed

  • Lead a small team of volunteers supporting trip planning, logistics, and outreach
