Our Pillars
Throughout the year, Give Back Cincinnati hosts a variety of events that fall within our five pillars. Each pillar offers one event per quarter. Every event is free; all you have to do is sign up and show up.

What To Expect at Our Pillar Events
Throughout the year, we host around 20 events, ranging from river cleanups, cookouts with Veterans, walkabouts to learn about Cincinnati’s public transit, and friendly bowling competitions.
There are no membership requirements or fees, so you’re welcome to attend as many or as few events as you like. After each volunteering event, we host a social gathering to say, “thank you” and provide an opportunity to continue to connect with fellow volunteers.
What Does a Typical Pillar Event Look Like?

Check-In: Come to the check-in table during the time frame indicated in the event reminder email to get signed in and receive a name tag

Event Kickoff: The event will kick off by the event leader sharing information about Give Back Cincinnati, the org we're partnering with, and the activity we will be doing

Activity: Take part in the planned activity (whether its volunteering, learning, or just kicking back)

Event Wrap-Up: Everyone gathers back together and the event leader will share info about upcoming events and the afterparty details

Afterparty: Keep the party going at the post-event social - first drink on us!
